You can configure the scoreboard application to display text, images or animations whenever a particular fixture event occurs (such as a seven is scored or a wicket is taken). To configure these items, follow these instructions:
FOR INDOOR CRICKET FIXTURES:
1) Open the scoring application and go to the first menu
2) Open “Configuration Settings”
3) Click “Cricket Scoresheet Settings”
4) Under “Events” click on the event for which you want an animation to appear
5) In the section that appears, Click “Add New Display Option”:
6) In the window that appears, select the radio button next to “This animation” and then click “Browse” and browse to the location of the flash animation on the hard drive of the umpire computer:
7) Specify the number of seconds that the animation should be displayed for (the default is 3 seconds)
8) Click “Save”
9) Repeat for any other animations you want to display and then finally click “Save”
Note that if the event that you want to display animations for does not already exist in the events list, you can add a new one by clicking “Add New” and then filling in the event properties accordingly.
FOR SOCCER OR NETBALL FIXTURES:
Animations can be displayed when a goal is scored in netball or soccer fixtures.
1) Open the scoring application and go to the first menu
2) Open “Configuration Settings”
3) Click “Non-cricket Scoreboard Settings”
4) Select the sport that you want to add animations for in the “Settings for” drop down list
5) Click “Add new image/animation”:
6) Browse to and select the location of the animation on the hard drive of the umpire computer
7) If necessary, change the number of seconds that the animation should be displayed for:
8) Repeat the process for any other animations that you want to display after a goal is scored.
